Customers like Honeywell/AAI who have been using our micro actuators in their
T-Hawk MAV
asked for improvements concerning dust and water resistance, stainless steel gears, sealed and shielded cases etc.
The DA 15 actuators are our answer: they have been developed to meet our customers' demand for an environmentally hardened version
of our well known DA 13 series.
Machined from a solid block of salt water resistant aluminum alloy, the DA 15 cases meet IP 67 standard. They can be provided with either
an integrated M5 round connector system or with a shielded pig tail connector (see photo below).
Both versions of the DA 15 actuator are fully programmable with our programming tool (accessory). They both use all steel gears!
The cases feature integrated mounting facilities for horizontal and vertical fixing. Specially made
mounting frames and alu arms are available as accessories.

The DA 15 are available in two torque/speed configurations:
DA 15-05-32

The DA 15-05-32 is the equivalent counterpart to our DA 13-05-32 high speed actuator with a no
load speed of > 600°/sec. Meant to be used in applications where fastest response (no load speed > 600°/sec!) is crucial like in
unstable airframes such as
ducted fan projects (MUAVs)
etc.

DA 15-05-60
|

The DA 15-05-60 is the equivalent counterpart to our DA 13-05-60 actuator with a stall torque of
60 Ncm/80 0z.in. Power version to be used where space is extremely limited and weight is of highest concern.
